What is the race format?

The event consists of winching, speed, technical and GPS. Friday night stages under lights with 2 – 3 stages and Saturday 6 stages.
Sunday 1 – 2 stages followed by presentation. Start times vary depending on season.

Is there a minimum age requirement for a Navigator?

Navigators can compete if they turn 15 years of age in the racing year (eg. Before 31 December of relevant year).
The Driver must have a current Drivers Licence issued by any motor authority that is recognised under the Motor Traffic Act.

Absolutely! We are a family & spectator friendly event and love to see everyone cheering on their loved ones!
What AASA licence do I need as a competitor?
What AASA licence do I need as a competitor?
You are required to have a State Off Road Recreation licence.
However, as some competitors compete in other events where National licences are required these are also accepted.

Do I need a AASA licence to become an official?

Yes, all officials are required to apply for an officials licence and there is no cost for this.
What amenities are provided?

It will depend on where the event is being held. If the event is being held at a 4WD Park then toilets and showers will be available.
However, if we are running on private property we only be providing toilets.

Is there any phone reception?

Again it will depend on where the event is being held.
However, reception is sporadic and you may have to been in a certain spot to be lucky enough to get some.

You sure can! There will be lots of available assistance if you get stuck.
Again depending on where the event is being held it may be only 4WD access out to the stages.
